Not many US cars in the list . . . I wonder why?

I'll bet a much greater % of people who said they like the Mustang actually own one, than the % of people who like the Vette. Did that make sense?

They probably could have saved their time asking about the sporty car, the Mustang was a forgone conclusion.

 

I dunno: 6 American, 9 Japanese, 2 Korean, 2 German, 1 English. Not too bad a showing in a global market that we have these days.

The Ridgeline as best mid sized truck? How many did they sell...50,000 last year? They are IMHO ugly, and expensive. Only a true Honda die hard would like it...so they are quaranteed to be impressed...and give it univeral high marks.

 

Hey..the G6 is in there. I just bought one. WIll be picking it up today.
Sooo now I have a couple of JD Powers top rated cars.

 

Let me know what you think of the G6. My wife wants to get one.

 

you are forgetting there is no such thing as a honda die hard.. import buyers will get tired of their civic and jump to a corolla then a altima..etc

 

I'm a fan of Honda's for what they are and have owned a few, and currently have a Pilot. But I too have to wonder when the public is going to catch on to what they've done with that monstrosity.

They advertise that thing as a "Powerful" Truck.....

Umm... it's the same drivetrain as my Pilot and an Odyssey, hardly something that I'd call powerful, oh but it's a lot heavier. 6,050 lbs !!! How do they make it feel more powerful :scratch: Gears! Rear axle ratio: 4:53

 

My wife is a dedicated Honda person and she laughs at the Ridgeline. She much prefers our Chevy 2500 HD 4X4 with a 454 big block. That's her opinion of a "real" truck.

 

HD girl of ill reputes themselves out to both Ford and Chevy? I didn't know that.

 

Kia made top picks? Someone over at J.D. Power must be on crack.

 

You know the JDPower surveys are total bunk when the Honda Ridgeline wins best midsize pickup. It isn't even a real pickup!
