Alright, I just got home and found a big nice picture of the '05 mustang in my mailbox. It was the October issue of Motor Trend. There is this pretty darn good article inside considering the '05.

Here are some quotes:
"America's favorite ponycar earns back its stripes."
"A quantum improvement is noticeable from 10 feet away, and it's not just the fab retro/modern styling. All the panel gaps, surface alignment, and detailing on these salable early production cars look Japan tight and orderly."
"Interior craftsmanship is similarly first-rate, with real aluminum on the steering wheel and dash (on cars with the optional appearance package) and a chic, woven headliner."
"The seats actually restrain the occupants so the steering wheel rim and grab handles don't have to, and the steering responds more quickly" compared to the previous model.
"Dump the clutch at half-throttle, and the Mustang GT paints two beautiful, unbroken black stripes-even with the traction control on."
"The 2005 GT is quicker than all [previous models] but the current supercharged SVT Cobra, and, even so, only by a 0.2-to-0.3 margin."
"In case your wondering how the new Mustang stacks up against the GTO: the America pony is faster and nimbler than the Austalian-bred goat-automatic or manual-but a retest will be in order as soon as we can get our hands on the upcoming 400-horse Pontiac."

The article on the new Mustang is really cool and I think everyone should get a copy. Even aside from the article on the mustang they have some stuff on the Five Hundred, the Freestyle, and have some cool advertisements also.

I went and picked up a copy of Motor Trend today ... I was in a hurry but saw an '05 on the cover and assumed I got the right issue. I feel like a real idiot now as I got the October issue !!
