Hey guys, new to the forums.

I noticed a lot of people upset about the "R" on a Mustang, feeling that it is just a cheap AutoZone/Import badge ripoff, but isn't it true that R-Models originated with Shelby Mustangs in the 60's?

What a lot of people hate is R for Racing is SO overused...like the work EXTREME

I haven't heard of this before, is this an actual race car or some limited edition car like the previous cobra r? If it is a race car, does anyone know where ford is planning to compete with it, american le mans maybe?

I had heard that Tommy Kendal was comingback to racing, could be his new ride.

That would make me one happy guy. Kendall was awesome!

Nope. Tommy will be driving one of the Rocketsport Jags in Trans Am. It would be cool to see the new Stang in Trans Am, though. The first race is in Long Beach on April 18th. Not sure about the TV schedule.
