Viewed the new Mustang GT TV commercial this evening on cable. The commercial uses the new Ford advertising theme "Bold Moves". The GT is Visita Blue, dual white stripes, 18" polished bullitts, and chrome exhaust tips.

The exhaust note is music to the ears. The commercial shows this GT smoking the tires!! Very cool commercial. It should excite potential muscle-car buyers, and scare insurance companies to raise our premiums!!

Anyone, when was the last time Ford created a new car commercial for the Mustang GT or Cobra....just curious?

My VCR is set to record this commercial the next time I see it.

That is a GREAT commercial, I just watched it a couple of times with my 12 year old. I think I may be a bad influence on him!

 

My youngest daughter (16 y/o) has already said "that's us in another month". Oldest daught has a '98 GT.....I asked her how she liked the commercial and all she did was smile and said "I already know how to smoke my tires". Guess I've been a bad influence too!

Yep, '61 was a very good year.

As I mentioned, my youngest is 16. My oldest is 19 soon to be 20. Had to order an '07 GT....couldn't let the oldest have the fastest car at the house.
