Anyone know of a gathering of Mustangs, especially '05 specific around the NE Ohio, NW PA, or SW NY area? :scratch:

Those of us up North here have waited so long for weather and our Mustangs that something has to be going on somewhere. :scratch:

Sounds like an idea, my GT vert is scheduled to be delivered to the dealer today. It figures, snow in the forecast for the weekend. Gotta love Ohio weather!

 

Not to be selfish, but we could always gather in Erie to cruise the Pennisula. Are there other similar areas in the Tri-State area worth cruising? :scratch:

I was going to suggest a meet at Cedar Point. Not a whole lot of driving out there, but they have a huge parking lot.

 

Take the drive to Jacksonville and join us next weekend!

 

On Saturday June 11 2005 we going a get together for all new 05 Mustang owners in tri-state region Cincinnati,OH at Breechmont, Ave Hooters just off I-275 At Breechmont Ave exit. just cross street of Breechmont Ford.

We going have door prizes and of course Hooters girls

Sofar 14 are coming.

 

I would do a Cedar Point...Top Thrill Dragster!!!! WHOO HOOO!!!!!

 

Off topic. My wife and I went to Cedar point and did Top Thrill Dragster. And the thing broke down, as it does regularly -- after we'd waiting in line and were LITERALLY the next people in line (not loaded into cars). So we sat down and waited. It took them like 20 minutes, they started the vroom vrroom noise, then nothing. We went back to waiting. About 5 minutes, and out of the blue, it launched the poor bastards that had been sitting in the launch position. No sound effects, no warning, just foooommmm. Off they went. For those of you that don't know, this thing does like 0-100 in 3 seconds. The screams were very sincere as they went up and then over.

We loaded up, and had a good ride. (It's a blast). But talking to those people that had gotten it out of the blue -- they said that was an experience of a lifetime. They all got out of the cars a little shaky... and I wanted to make sure no one had left a gift in the car before we got in.

Unfortunately, I'll do a get together; if and when I finally get my Cobra. <sigh> Next year? Year after?
