I scared the living $#%# out of my girlfriend the other night as we were watching American Idol. As the camera went over to the red couch where they sit I noticed that they were using the 18 inch mustang fan blade wheel as the coffee table. I yelled !! " OH MY GOD !! there is the wheel to my car and they are using it as a table, cooooool !!! WOW !! I never got a look like that before . My girlfriend thinks I'm nuts.
Has anyone else that can admit they watch the stupid show confirm what I have seen ?????

WOW... You got a pair of big ones... It takes a real man to admit something like that... I guess it takes a "FAN" to notice the "FAN" blades.... By the way, they are cool wheels!

No you're not crazy. I noticed it also. Its a fanblade wheel with a glass top. It a way of Ford getting there advertising as "product placement", Kinda like their couch they use with coke bottle outlines all over it.

Yep, I noticed it Tuesday Night. But, I didn't jump out of seat. Just said, "Did you see that their center table is the Fan Blade Wheel?" I hope they use the Mustang and not just the lesser vehicles in the side lines as the show progresses. Keep in mind Ford has and will use that wheel on other vehicles.

I think the later episodes of A I are fine, its their hooky auditions that I find Dumb. Its in HD, so I don't mind watching with the Wife.

OK, OK, I'm going to watch the show tonight, but ONLY to see the fanblade wheel table idea! (and that cutie Kellie Pickler, or that's what I've been told anyway, not that I watched it last week or anything like that....)

Ok... I noticed the wheel right away too, but I figured it was a Fusion wheel since that is the car they keep advertising during the show.

So I took a look again... and I think it's the 16" Fusion wheel, the optional one for the SE.

Check out page 6 of the Exterior Photo Gallery, here http://www.fordvehicles.com/cars/fusion/

EDIT: Here is a link directly to the pic of the wheel. http://www.fordvehicles.com/assets/images/...p/fsn06_012.jpg

I agree. But to me it looks like an '06 Civic wheel. I know, I know...Ford is the big sponsor.
