Mustang down!

Well the past couple weeks have been really bad for me, punctuated by this latest incident. Two weeks ago I had a tooth abscess (fixed this past Monday), Then this past Friday night I was out on date and we got mugged at gunpoint by some 16 yr old punk in front of her place (Ocean Grove, NJ) then this happened yesterday morning:

I was a slight idiot on this one..I was driving into work Thursday morning and took my eyes off the road for a split second (was looking down at the instruments or steering wheel) when I looked back up and saw an Expedition with its brakes on...some idiot in front of him panic stopped when they came up to a front end loader with lawn mower attachment cutting the shoulder of the road. I slammed on my brakes and tried to swing out of the way without any luck as seen above.

Anyways sorta lucky...no airbags went off which is a good thing. No one got hurt either.

The only good thing about this is I'm finally getting the fender that got keyed after a week of owning the car fixed and I'm getting an estimate of how much it would cost to get racing stripes put on

Anyone know how much a OEM Mustang Grill goes for? I want to keep my Center Mounted Fog lights, and I think the Street Scenes grill is cheaper...well I hope

I think at this point it can only get better for you. Did they catch the POS that robed you? What happened?
The damage doesn't look to bad. You get the hood and bumper of your choice now.
Check new take offs or fleebay for the hood and bumper.

Don't bad things come in three's? If so, you should be in the clear

Glad to hear everyone is ok. Still, your poor baby...

Holy s**t!! Didn't look THAT bad from the pix... WOW!!

Hang in there... you'll get her fixed soon. Try to steer clear of Las Vegas and your bookie for the time being though ok?

I saw it with the front facia and fender off...the front subframe where the radatior mounted to was bent pretty good, the passenger side main bumper mount was bent a bit and very front of the passenger side subframe had some damage (looked like Ford designed it that way though) to break at the front front of it, since it was a clean break.

Dang, that looks mighty expensive. Though, if the frame is damged... Idk, man, bad luck, when it rains, it pours, trust me
