How about a little fun with specs? Here we have the prelim specs for the Mustang GT, along with some specs for some other sports cars...and a wagon...

Just for fun, but some of this might surprise you...

2005 Ford Mustang GT (est.) price: Approx. $23,000 to $25,000

-BHP: 300@6000 rpm
-Torque: 315@4500 rpm
-Weight: <3450 lbs


2005 Porsche Carrera S (est.) price: $79,895

-BHP: 350@6600 rpm
-Torque: 295@4600 rpm
-Weight: 3135 lbs


2005 Dodge Magnum RT (with HEMI) price: $29,995

-BHP: 340@5000 rpm
-Torque: 390@4000 rpm
-Weight: 4142 lbs


2004 Pontiac GTO price: $31,795

That's really not much of a comparo to the Mustang, just a broad overview of different cars engines, price, and weight.

I thought they raised the torque value of the Mustang to 320 Ibs ft.

And yeah! If I had the means I would by a Porsche GT1.

Yeah, I was going for a Car and Driver style comparo nothing really in common, just fun cars

Of course, the GT if I had the money. The GT would smoke that Porsche, like it did the Ferrari in tests.

Gosh never really noticed how much of a better offer the GT is compared to the Lambo... but then again everything Lambo or Ferrari has to be raised by about $20,000...
