Same bumper...added insert...same as the GT

 

Some differences between the front ends...

A nice ridge on the GT and the lower opening is inverted....

Wonder if the insert is the same between GT and V6, just flipped 180?

The "smilely face" isn't as dramatic on the GT... lights-eyes <> insert mouth??

Looks like they went from a one-piece front skirt with down stiffeners
painted the body color to an opening with a full black insert... cost?

I would prefer the divided front, it just seems to project a more "mean"
look (with the teeth showing...)

 

man, the more i see it, the more i dont like the mustang stripe on the door. that looks more"tacked"on than the spoiler IMO. that is def an option i wouldnt get. just doesnt look right with the word "mustang" on the door

 

It will look worse when people start putting "5.0" badges on GTs and teh VeeSicks. :scratch:

 

I completely thought the same when seeing the stripes.

The slight separation of the lower side skirt from the side doors make any stripe seem kind of ill-fitted.

I'll try for something good once I get my 05 and post the results. :drive:

 

Too bad once everybody else gets their 05's, there will be hardly anyone left here to read the results.

We had that poll. The GT won easily. I think it was 2-3:1.

 

But to play devils advocate for 05Mach1, it wasn't the new improved front ends.

 

I don't like the door stripe with the word Mustang. I will change it a bit, more like the Roush side stripe and may put 300 GT near the front Fender

 

the GT's front end is much more menacing than the 6's IMHO. especially at night, can you imagine, looking at your rvm and seeing 4 lights coming at you like a bat out of ......!!!!!

As for the spoiler debate. I want the dead weight on the back of my car, it snows plenty in NE Ohio.

The front lower grill insert, I think I like it better without, but I don't think it changes noticably much with it.

Edit: Side stripes... the nicest one's I've seen were on a white SN95, they were a series of 'running horses' faded from white (front) to black (rear) along the bottom of the doors.
