Went down to the local dealer today and they said that they would have the 2005 mustang in between oct -9 to the 13th and that most dealers in Canada should be getting them in about the same time ...man I sure hope this is true

Sure hope your right...I had a dealer call me tonight to tell me they where getting there's mid november and that they would only be getting 6 and then unsure when he would be getting more...but perhaps canadain dealers will get a model each to display?...would be nice to finally see one in person (darn west coast we get every car last these days)

I would love to see that but I highly doubt it. I was in my dealership this afternoon and when I talked to the sales manager he said they were slated to arrive in their lots first week of Nov. maybe the dealership you go to is different then mine? Man would I love that b/c its my BDAY this weekend and I would love to treat myself to a big present!!!

Hope its true, but based on current delays I doubt it. Has anyone in Canada had theirs built? What is ship status? My build date was yesterday but I got bumped (IUP) :bang:

Pete had mentioned previously that Canadian job orders would begin to be built at a later date to supply the american dealers first. I'm not sure if this applied to pre-orders or just dealer show cars.

Just guessing! The way things are going, that seems to be the most logical answer! end of the month! They'll load up the U.S. Dealers first I would suspect. :bang:

From what I can remember (emails are at home)
That the Sept/Oct builds were tight, and that Job1 was around the same time as the US (give or take a week)

It was some weird number under 500 for the first 2 months...then like 1900 for nov/dec. Then once full production hits, it'll be more I'm sure.
Then again, the country sells less stangs than California...

I was told first drops were late oct, early november (which makes sense) 6-8 weeks delivery.

I just copied this from an earlier post in a different thread:

Just a heads up for the Canucks that have ordered their 05s and are waiting for delivery. I certainly don't want to burst anyone's bubble and REALLY DO hope I've received information that'll change, but the latest word on Canadian shipping will be approximately mid November with each dealer in the country receiving at least one Mustang within a 72 hour period. I know that I along with many others have their fingers crossed that this tentative arrival date gets bumped up.

I know I read all those links too.But if the dealer I was at was so sure of himself the least I can do is check it out to see that it's true. They were telling me that no one had factory ordered a car from them and these were the dealers cars .They said that they had about 8 people that wanted to look at it before placeing an order.

As of Thursday, my car was built. The dealers report had 10/16 as delivery date. He said that this is the expected arrival date, but I expect thats the date it will leave AAI. I'm optimistic that the report was accurate, but won't be surprised if its delayed.
