The Mustang is supposed to be built today and shipped to me by August 18th. Some of y'all know the anticipation I'm talking about. I'm going to give myself a bananna and maybe it'll hold me over till it gets here.


I ordered it July 1st. So from date of order to anticipated delivery date will be about 7 weeks. I am about to bust open so I hope maybe they can ship it faster. Aw what the heck I need another bananna.

 

Alot of us know what you are going through and even though it sucks waiting, it is worth it. I hope she get home to you very soon. here are a couple more nana's to tide you over.

 

It's definately worth a wait. My wait has been strange though. Two days after ordering the car I went to the ER and had emergency abdominal surgery. Was in for 6 days. I was out of work for a month. Then finally came back to work for a month. Now I'm about to pick up my car tomorrow, lol.

Hey guys,

If "bucked" means its being built, my baby was started yesterday and maybe finished today. The CR guy told be yesterday that I was "bucked" and the gal told be basically the same thing today. Yesterday my ETA was week of Aug 28. Today it's between the 21st and 28th. I ordered mine on July 11. Let's hope we all deliver soon!!!

 

Congrats !!! It's good to hear that some of the builds actually happened this week.

Of course that means that you will have to post pics as soon as you get it.

 

I'll see what i can do about pics - I might be driving for a while.

07 GT Premium, 5 speed, IUP, Comfort Group, 17" machined wheels, 3.55 rear, side air bags. Black car, black top, dark charcoal interior, charcoal dash. Should have been built Thursday and Friday.

 

I forgot - I have the comfort group also. and the standard Bullit wheels - i would have bought an aftermarket set if they weren't stock. I love those wheels. i almost got the convertible, but I really like the fastback look. And I plan to put scoops over the quarter windows.

Maybe our Stangs will come in on the same train.

 

Another week of 7/31 build confirmed completed!

ERL tells me my car is released from the assembly plant; and moved my ETA up from "week of 8/19" to "week of 8/16".

+1 in the fam! -- as of 4 aug, my vehicle was also produced; with eta of week of 16 aug! gonna call the dealer on monday to remind him not to install front plate frame and not to put on any 'tags'

Man, I am getting cranky, all these people putting in orders after me and already receiving their cars while I am still waiting to get serialized!! I am jealous!!

i orderd on 9 june; didnt get serialized until 6 july. for me it'll be ~10 weeks (soup to nuts) others take more; other take less.

At least you guys are getting your cars in a reasonable time. Us guys who ordered 05s back when had to really wait. I had to wait four months for my car. Ordered 2/05, delivered 6/05. Now that's a wait. Some guys even waited longer. But glad to see that you are getting you cars pretty quickly. Congrats, you'll love it!

 

ERL still has me being produced on August 4th and ETA to dealer of Aug 18th. I wish they'd move it up a day or two; I'm planning on going to Myrtle Beach that weekend and it'd be sweet to take the new Stang. Otherwise I'll have to pick it up when I came back.

Andy - Hopefully you will get lucky and receive you car before you go to vacation. Mine was produced on July 26th, and I took delivery 5 days later in New Jersey. This was at least a week before the ETA. Good luck!!!!

Hey Gisarm, congrats on the new stang and, short wait time. I read this thread friday and, it made my weekend. After all I did order mine two days before you. Waited till monday to check on mine. The good news is it will be right on the 6+2 week schedule with a build date of 8-11 and d-time 8-25. I'm a full week behind. Hope you get yours early, would love to see you take pics on the beach.
