So, the jury is out. I have the MRT strut brackets on the correct side. They are not backwards, upside down or sideways. I have tried every possible angle, to include switching the struts and that does not work either. For whatever reason, these ones become angled once I close the hood. The good news is that, once they become angled, they stayed angled. I have no movements afterward. Thank everyone for their input.
