I really like the V6 styling. I'm getting pretty excited to drive the 5 speed manual V6 when they get them in......

 

I agree, the v6s do look nice.

Have yet to see a Torch Red v6 stang!

 

Anyone out there have a Torch Red v6 stang? If so, plz share pics! That's the color i'm prolly going to be gettin on my stang and I still haven't seen a v6 one

 

I know this topic was brought up before, but I cannot find it either... Does anyone recall when the manual v6's are suppose to be arriving?

Really? I've found the foglights on GTs awesome.

Although, the sticker the v6s have on the sides make up for it

 

I've heard that they are going to start making the 5 speed V6's any day now.

Here's something that I posted before about the V6 5 speed.


On page 122 of Matt DeLorenzo's Mustang, a New Breed of Pony Car, he quotes Ford's Chief Engineer Thai-Tang as saying that the V6 is a real sleeper in the Mustang line.

"The V-6 manual is also a really nice package as far as performance feel" Thai-Tang notes, "The transmission's internals have been changed with more precise machining of the gear set to provide smoother operation."

When equipped with this upgraded Tremec T-5 five-speed manual (ironically, the internals are the same ones that were previously used on the Chevy Camaro), the V-6 can be a hoot to drive. It's fairly quick and predictable like it's GT sibling.

Sounds like it might be worth at least test driving a five speed V6 to see how it is?

 

i love the '05! i hope in the new year to eventually finish workin on my 66 and sell it to get an '05 gt!! newayz, i love the v6 as well, ive seen 4 of them, 2 at my dealer, keeter ford in shelby, nc, one on teh back of a truck, and the other goin down the road, here's pics of 3 of them, enjoy!

Anti-Lock Brakes w/Traction Control

Will be a delay because of IUP but don't know how long. Used X Plan because I have a relative who works for Ford.
