Question Mobil 1 5w20 -- MIA? ...or I'm just not looking hard enough?

I don't know what's it's been with this oil. It's like trying to dig for gold. (Actually I think gold is easier to find.) Retailers just seem to not want to carry this oil. It's even more annoying when the 5qt/free filter offer is going on. So, what are my options?

If this stuff is hard to come by, should I just dump in 0w20? I've been using M1 5w20 since my 1st change, it's just getting harder to find.

I have no problem finding M1 0w20 or 5w20. Ive been running 0w20 in my GT doing 7500k changes. Works great.

Hmm, I thought that even if worst came to worst, even when I stopped by Autozone today, they'd order a case for me, they couldn't even order it on the computer. That was odd.

Same.

If you've a membership to Sam's, M1 5w20 comes in 6 quart boxes for $33. At least that's the price here.

I see your in Long Island, Im in Rhode Island and 5w20 is also very difficult to find here. I know my local Advanced Auto very rarely has any in stock. Could it be a regional thing?

Could be regional as my local Wally World has a bunch of cases on hand.

i guess I'll take a trip to walmart this weekend. As for being a regional thing, based on this thread, mobil doesn't like the northeast......
