Mineral Gray in the light....
Doesn't look BAD...just doesn't floor me...
Is the top car DSG, and the bottom mineral grey ???. They look so different, or the light really plays games on them.

I like them both and when I bought my last car it was a last second choice of black or mineral grey. I picked black because I was afraid I would get bored with MG after a few months. DSG and MG are both great colors. Those pictures of DSG are right on the money but MG has to be seen in person to be appreciated. Pics don't seem to do it justice.

I agree entirely. If it was just pictures, I wouldn't choose Mineral Grey. But I remember the first time I saw it in person -- that was the first time I ever thought I'd buy a grey car. It's awesome when the sun hits it, IMHO. DSG is very cool too, but I'm not into pure greys, I like the metallic bronze change that happens to MG in bright light.

My preference is DSG. Someone posted this chop in the photoshop thread, and if Ford offered a color like this I would grab it, no questions asked! I think it most closely resembles DSG, although the filename is mineralgrey.jpg.

Yeah, that is definitely closer to DSG than Mineral Grey. I modified it to more closely resemble what I think MG looks like. And I altered the interior to be red, just like the one I have on order .

I like both. But mineral grey looks better on the 99-04 mustangs. I don't care for that color on the 05's. Because of the styling of the car I'm stuck on the bright colors

Man that Dark Shadow Grey looks great on the 05!!!
I may just have to get whatever color they offer and have it painted after all the modifications I do to it. Does anyone know if there is a chop of the DSG with the Concept hood (no stripes) and the 1/4 window louvers?

I did hold off on the Mach 1 and have since ordered the 05.
My dealer let me order 2 since I couldn't makeup my mind on the color. He said he shouldn't have any problem selling the one I don't want.
Ordered Windveil Blue and Mineral Grey. I have seen the DORA for both but didn't get copies. Now just have to wait painfully for them to get here.

Did you have to do a double deposit? I know they are refundable, but just asking.

Will the mineral grey have the red interior upgrade option...as in the photo-chop?

B) Mineral Gray is great. When you have it waxed up it looks real good. I saw a convertible witha copper toned roof, it was very neat. B)

Mestizo, Dealer didn't want a deposit. The sales manager said I have been a good customer for them in the past and he trusted that I would buy one. I have purchased my last 3 vehicles from them and since they have treated me right I will continue to go back to them.
Both cars I ordered have the same upgrades with the Dark Carcoal interior.
Basically fully loaded. The only options I didn't get were the Interior color accent, Shaker 1000 and the Side airbags. Also kept the Bullitt style wheels.
