Release from Midwest Auto Gear:

We have had a number of 2005-2006 Mustang GT plenum covers custom painted by local airbrush artists. We are going to be selling these on our website and on eBay. These are one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted pieces. They are painted with our normal base coat then sent to the artists, they apply their artwork, then they come back to us and we apply two coats of clear over the top for durability and an awesome depth. The artists that are doing this work for us are well known for their work on motorcycles.

If you like a theme that you see pictured here but would like a different color scheme to more match the theme of your car, please contact us as we can arrange a custom work for you. If you have a special theme in mind that you don't see in the pictures, again, contact us and we can work that out also. We have not figured out exact pricing as of yet but we will have that worked out next week. We will be bringing out more themes on the GT covers as well as some V6 custom airbrushed covers in the near future and will post them here and on our website.

Please contact us at sales@midwestautogear.com with your questions or give us a call at 262-367-8254 we would love to hear from you.

The following auctions will be active after 6:00 pacific time tonight:

This is interesting since there is a board member who is doing sort of the same thing with the flames. It will be interesting what the starting bids will be on these these. Thanks for the post Brad.

Now I can't decide if I want to get the V6 cover and paint it the color of my car or wait and get one airbrushed like the one in the 6th picture. Ahhhhhh decisions. I think either way would look good though. I just wonder how much these airbrushed covers are going to be selling for.

Me too, and that's even before you factor in class and character.

I agree... Bill's stuff looks awesome. There's a TMS member who might be looking to get the entire front of his black stang flamed like that. How much you think that would cost? Bill, give him a flaming deal... I want to see how hot that would look.

Thats a really hard thing to quote because I dont know how much coverage he wants, how long he wants the flames to be before they split up and move further apart upwards and stuff. I would have to see a pic of the car with the area he wanted coverage shaded somehow ( that should be easy to do I would think w/ all the photoshop guys around these threads.....just not enough info to get in the ballpark.....we can do it though for sure!

thanks,
BillC.
