I'm from Memphis and i've contacted 2 area Ford dealerships, Homer Skelton & Dobbs, and both are selling the V6 at MSRP and one dealership, Homer Skelton, is selling the V8 at $2000 over MSRP!!!

If there is anyone who lives in the Memphis or Mid-South area and has found a good deal somewhere, please let me know! I'm begging you! :worship:

So, do they actually have them on the lots? I'm from that area and might swing on over just to look, if they're there. However, I sure won't be buying at those prices!

Funny you mention Dobbs. My sorely missed 69 Mustang was originally bought from them.

You might try one of the dealers in Little Rock.

I live in the Memphis area and have one on order with Dobbs Ford Wolfchase, but since I'm eligible for X plan, I didn't have to haggle over the price. My salesperson, Don Lewis, did say a few weeks ago they might not be dealing when they first come out, unless someone was eligible for a plan discount. I'd call him and mention that Louis Odom referred you, but it might not help. Good Luck!

I called Dobbs at Wolfchase this morning to check on the status of my order and they do not have any in stock. The sales manager said in a week or 2. He couldn't believe that some dealers already had theirs. I mentioned that a Nashville dealer already delivered one, and I think he was suprised.

This forum seems to have more up to date info than the dealers have.

I drove through the parking lot of the Dobbs dealership yesterday and there were no 05 mustangs on the lot yet. The dealer told me last week that some should have hit the lot this past Tuesday! Homer Skelton in Olive Branch are supposed to have some on the lot this weekend. If they are indeed there, hopefully i'll be able to test drive one!
