Anyone from Michigan get a stang?

 

I live near Port Huron, and called all the dealers around me (around 7 or 8) none of them have any. They all say the same thing. They will be here in a couple days (that was a week ago).

 

haha yea likewise...i heard they are shipping now...

i talked to a mechanic that works at Fairlane Ford in Dearborn and they expect them by the end of the week. Woodhaven Autoport (down the road from me) has shipped about 1/3 of the Mustangs they originally had. Somewhere in another post there was a car hauler that was totally enclosed, with an XLR on the side, and i remember seeing that there sometime last week as i was coming home from school. Just wait ladies and gentlemen, they are on their way...

 

there is one here in jackson, mi (light blue) and one in grand rapids......how is it that detroit doesnt get theres before other michigan cities?

Dealer called me on about the 7th. Said it would be there b/w then and Tuesday the 12th. He never said anything about "the week of" anything. I think that's the lingo we use here on the forum (and indeed, maybe cars are scheduled delivery in a one week window, ala build dates), but by ANY measure, day or week, my friggin wheels are late, and my patience grows thin. I ordered this son of b...... in May, and for what?! I could have taken one off the lot by now.

that's what I don't get. Demmer and Varsity, the two biggest dealers in the friggin state, and not a single stang on either lot....

what gives?

 

its not the dealerships...from what ive heard...all i know is stuff by train is working fine

 

I live in Warren and Ford Direct shows them at almost every dealer around here, I drove past the one that claimed to have 3 GT's but didn't see anything.
