Message Center Question

what exactly is the message center????? What does it do, Thanks....

aka "in car computer"

displays trip mileage, gallons of gas consumed, average speed, average MPG, real time MPG meter, stopwatch, Distance To Empty, and Ithink thats it. it also flashes up text warnings that you're running low on gas, the door is ajar, etc.

I could do without "distance to empty", bugs me like a back seat driver.
I never run out of gas.

Also sets off an beep if your're driving a long distance with your signal on!
