Here is one of my favorite Mineral Grey pics. I think it was taken by AmyV6. Here is the link:

Mineral Grey 2005

PS: It is my understanding that Ford is not making another kind of Grey for the 2005.

nope. i think mineral gray is it. satin silver is probably the closest to gray you can get right now. but there's always an aftermarket paintjob if you've got the money.

If you are not 100% familliar with the color in person, it will look better then you think. DSG is too dull for this car.

Mineral Grey has too much of a copper tint to it. I like DSG, just too bad it's not offered for this car.

The mineral gray does seem a little "copper" I agree, but I think the lighting has a lot to do with it. This has been bothering me too since I have ordered one in this color, but that's as close to the titanium color that is offered.

If you must see the color in person, it is one of the choices for the current explorer. I was going to go gray until I saw it It is similar to my wife's minivan color and that is ...just wrong IMHO

Nope, that is titanium silver. This colour will not be offered for 2005 on the regular GT. Whether it appears on an SE (to answer a previous question) is anyone's guess.

Boomer has pics of his Satin Silver stang. If I can't find them, I'm sure he'll post them up for you.

Hey Dan I was just looking at my order form and it says that the Satin SIlver is bran new for 2005, so is Boomer's mustang a different silver but looks just like the Satin Silver? I was hoping the satin silver would look like the silver on the Mercedes/BMW/new vettes type of silver.

Satin silver mustangs were on a hiatus for two years...thats why it says all new.

how does that Satin Silver look in real life.. all the photos Ive seen with the Satin Silver make the car look rather flat... is that just how the photos look, or is the color naturally flat looking?

Trying to decide on a color, and right now its silver or black.. and Id rather get silver, since Ive had 2 blacks cars.. and just bought another for my wife...

Its not a dark silver, ...it is lighter.

In the sun/up close you can see the metal flake.

The Satin Silver was used in 02 only for 99-04 stangs.
Silver Metallic was used before/after.

I'd get it if I didn't have the SAME silver....
If I had silver metallic, no doubts, I'd pick up a Satin with Red interior.

TL is the paint code, and is the exact same colour that will be on the 05.

Thanks Boomer! Well I ordered my GT yesterday and I picked the Satin Silver and then I started looking at the Mineral Gray today and was wondering if I should change the color but I like the way it looks on your Stang! I think I will stick with it.

Mineral grey does rock. DSG is booooring for this car. They should of gone to Merlot for the metallic red, its like a lipstick red color. It is available on the 40th aniv package 04's and on T-birds.
