since the GTs come w\the medallions on the rear tail area that say GT on them...and the V6 has the pony...is there ANY way possible to get a pony medallion on there when u order? or maybe have the dealer do it? id much prefer the pony on there because it reminds me so much of my 66FB and it will make me complete as well...now that i think of it...when i order mine in 06...i had a 66FB...i think by me ordering the 06 GT i may be on to something B) 66...06

PS - and oh yea...im so gunna do the louvers on the rear quarter windows! mmmm modern day fastback to satisfy me until i get another 65/66 FB

 

If you want the GT with V-6 rear badge, you are essentially going to have 2 badges.....and your dealer will have to order the V-6 badge for you.

Gotta love those 66s! The fastback in 66 would have had the "GT" on the rear emblem (gas cap in 66) if the car was a GT. The non GT cars had the horse. This is one of those cases where Ford stuck with tradition and it's a great look.

 

my g/f said that when i get my stang in a few years, i should get it with the pony on the medallion... i agree with her
