I ordered a 2005 GT 'vert last night and am not sure of what some of the codes mean. Can anybody help with decoding my Vehicle Order Confirmation codes:
Priority: 99 Order Type: 1 Price Level: 500 I read in a previous post by BEK355 that Priority 99 will never get built? Should I go back to the dealer and have them change this code to somthing else? Beyond this issue, I understand the next step is the DORA. What are steps I should manage after receiving the DORA until my car arrives? Kevin? Thanks in advance. |
It is possible that you have got that code because the vert's haven't been released yet? only an idea of mine......

I just received a DORA with the Priority Code changed to 12. Much better!

On a convertible all of that means nothing, its just a dummy order. The system is not set up to take 'vert orders yet.

Are your sure? Is there a line on the DORA indicating this is a dummy order?

The system will accept a convertible order. It is programed. It just won't be scheduled for production till next year. So as Jesse Jackson says
