Well it was a local cruise night that is normally just a bunch of classics. Well the guys saw me passing by and asked me to stop for a while. So I took a few pics. They want me to cruise with them every week now.

I just love the Red 68 Shelby. He was the original purchaser. He has the original bill of sale in his car. Paid $2,125.00 for the car. Lucky bugger.

Wow I would buy one for that price!!!! Looks really nice. I was wodering, did you do your own stripes? I have put on a few smaller ones. Just not sure if I want to try that on my new 05. Have any tips?

Hi Troy. Yes, I did my own stripes. Do a search on the exterior mods section for stripes. I went into great detail on how to install them, where you need to put splices, etc. I'd look for you but I don't have the time right now to find it or to retype my short story.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We hope that next week is nicer. We are trying to get 10 of us together for a group photo. It would include my car, a 2005 V6 (silver) and the rest would range from model years 67-71. Most of the cars didn't show up last night because it looked like it was going to rain.
