My buddy called and his mom just bought a new 05 gt. I was happy for her but on the same token thinking about my C/U order. They wanted a manual trans but they had to settle for auto since the dealer said there were only about 9 manual trans GTs in the surrounding states.

Anybody see any GT coupes at the dealer that have manual trans right now?

There's a couple of dealers here in SE Texas that have manual GTs in stock (or they did last time I checked a couple of days ago).

Last 3 Gts I have seen have been manual.
Only seen two autos.
Of course I have only seen five Gts come in around here altogether though.
Ten tons of v6es- all autos so far.

Here in MA (and in NH as well...), you can ONLY find manual trans. ... on the other hand, the auto trans. are extremely rare...I bet the ratio is something like 7 or 8 to 1 (or even more) in favor of the manual trans...
When I searched for mine (end of january), I found ONLY two GTs with auto trans. and IUP in the entire state of MA and none in NH...

That is what their dealer told them. I do know that my dealer said they can't get their hands on any manual trans gt's either. I'm guessing their dealer said that because those were the only 9 cars from dealers that were willing to trade.

Their salesman is not going to tell them about a dealer that isn't willing to trade their manual trans GTs. Otherwise they would just drive to that dealer and buy it.

I'm willing to wait right now but If my order isn't here by the time summer hits and I'm waiting 5 or 6 months for my car then I'm going to go hunting for another one. If I have to go outside of michigan to get it then so be it.
