Manual Trans Fill / Drain Fitting
What type fitting is on the Manual Trans fill and drain plugs? 1/2in square? hex?
Easier to ask then to jack up the car and look I guess.
Thanks

takes a more than 3 quarts to fill it. It's like 3.6, or a little over 3 and a half bottles. I cant remember if the bottles come in liters or quarts. Basically you need to fill it and be 1/2" below the hole. Don't fill it up to the hole, needs to be 1/2" below

just over three quarts here. A good idea to measure how much is in there before draining.... especially if you're using axle stands and not sure if the car is level. I recommend getting your hands on a pump if you don't have one already.

I drained and filled it with about 3 qt or actually less than 3 qt due to some ATF remaining in the hand pump. I didn't want to spend another $7 on an extra quart of ATF only to use 1/8 of it. The TR-3650 is sensitive to overfilling. It's been about 5000 miles and I have zero shifting issues when it is cold/warm/hot.
