I was looking at the inventory in my area on FordDirect.com and noticed this option in one of the 05 GT specs:

Manual Air Conditioning

Does this mean that I have to roll down the window to get cooled off???

same old A/C system but they have, but call it manual to differentiate from the temp sensing air conditioners on the market, possibly (?).

well there are a set of bicycle pedals on the floor, you need to pedal them, and they are attached to the AC compressor by a chain. the faster your pedal, the cooler the air gets.
