Made some pretty cool pics from when the car was delivered
I think most people already know the story of how I was able to ship my car straight from the factory to where I work and then got to drive it off the truck myself. Well I have it all on video and while I was watching it the other day I decided to get screen captures of what i thought were some pretty unique oportunities.
1) Signed the delivery receipt
2) Did my own PDI
3) Backed it off the truck (actual picture. posted before. nothing new)
4) Close-up of #3

How do you do screen captures of the video?
You can screen capture anything that's on your monitor by pressing the Print Screen button. That puts it on the clipboard just like if you right clicked on something and copied it. Then open whatever program you want, (I used Microsoft Paint) and paste it in there.

But I had waited 4 months for that car and I was exstatic.
Wasn't thinking straight. Also I should have rolled down the window and waved at the camera.
Good thing you were in the bottom rear position on the transport; would have crapped myself if I had to back it off the top front position.
I'm surprised the transport driver let you do it since he is responsible for any damage.

Just lucky I guess. It was because it was in that position that we thought to ask him if I could back it off. I watched them unload hundreds of trucks and there's no way I would have tried it if it would've been in any other position.

Here's the original thread from March '05.

The first pics are awesome..I almost fell off my chair..
Then reality hit
on what can happen in the second set of pics.
The worst I got was my 05 delivered covered in wet Sand and Salt spray.
My 06 from Maine was clean and no snow and dry roads and has made cleaning from the start much easier.

Here's one of me getting in the car.
Check out the driver. He's staring at the door to make sure I don't open it too far and hit the trailer. (he didn't know how much of a Mustang nut I was.

Stangnut are you refering to my pics? If so I actually took those. I just happened to swing by the dealership that afternoon, since my office was not far away. Lord behold there was a Windveil Blue GT on the truck. I walked over to take a closer look and saw my name on the window sticker. You know I couldn't get back to my truck to get the camera quick enough. That was a really cool day, cannot believe it has been over a year and a half ago.

and he was willing to take pics for you when the car came in.
