I'm losing patience with FORD. I've been priority 10 at my local dealership and it's been 6 weeks, and no schedualing. I almost want to ask for a refund and say screw it and not get my ford. Or even *gasp* get a v6. I really want a GT, but this is getting stupid. I probably won't even be that happy, but I'm starting to hate the mustang because I can't have it. Also gas price concerns and other reasons are creeping into my mind as to why I should cancel my order. Someone slap me silly. There. I'm done. Hopefully I'll snap out of this.

Your story has "repeated" many times.......Which is no consolation . Your dealer probably has to wait for his allocation. You just need to be patient and know that the car will bring you a Great High, and all the waiting pain will evaporate.

I understand your frustration, but something to remember is that there have been what... 2 or 3 build weeks for 2006 models?

Hopefully your dealer will have allocation very soon, and you'll get scheduled.

Hang in there. I am in the same boat as you, and I ordered a few days before you.

Had to wait four months for my GT. But she is beautiful and worth the wait. So sit back, do something else, and one day your dealer will call you and say "your car is in". Then you can go around bragging like the rest of us that you had to wait months because your's is a GT and had to be special ordered and can't be found on dealer lots. Although my wife did say that I was hard to live with during my four month wait. I think most people that got the 05 GT did wait three or four months to get their cars. Good luck!

6 weeks....I waited 8 months. I think you need to just wait and eventually it will get here. Mine was also a priority 10.

let me put this in perspective and to rest----i waited over 197 dyas from order to delivery for my 05'--Jan 14 - August 1--stop female dogin, relax, its worth the wait and it cost $43 to fill her up at $3.37 a gallon for shell 93 V-power

Have alittle patience.
I ordered mine in June and I had a priority of 10.
These things take time even if you get a really great priority.
You'll get there
Good luck!

I waited alomst 5 months for mine. And it was only a V6!

The dealer allocation proccess stinks no doubt. :notnice: But when she arrived I could have cared less how long it took. I was even debating getting a , GULP , Dodge  cause I was so mad at Ford. :bang:

As soon as she comes you'll think she was well worth the wait! I've put 8,300 miles on mine in 5 months. Can't stay away from her, which is why my wife and I call her "the mistress". Hang in there!!!!!!!!!!!

Short & Sweet: Its worth the wait and regardless of how long it is, you will immediately forget it when you get behind the wheel.

OK people, let's make sure everybody gets one before we go back for seconds. Miss Manners would not be happy. :nono:

Don't worry, I am still waiting on mine, she is built and has left the plant, now is in Limbo somewhere.
I hate ERL, she refuses to give me the "go to your dealer and pick up your new Mustang GT" message.

If anyone deserved "seconds," I think it's Emilee...

You can check the status of your order by calling the telephone number on my sig; make sure you have your VOC. I waited 4-1/2 months and it is worth it!

When I ordered my car last October (10/20/04) my dealer said it would arrive in 8 weeks.
My car sat in 'temporary delay in production' for almost 7 weeks before finally getting scheduled for build.

I know! I'm waiting for this one too!! It was supposed to have been at the dealer this past Friday, but no word!! This may be the worst part of the wait.... after it's been shipped and waiting for it to get here!
