Thumbs up

Just moved to the region, and am interested in attending any and all car shows within the Phoenix area (if Mustang specific, great, but I'm not going to be picky just yet).

Thanks for any information you can drum up!

The best recurring one is at the McDonalds at the Pavillions shopping center, Indian Bend and the 101 loop in Scottsdale (east side of town) - every Saturday night. It starts later in the evening during the summer, mid-afternoon during the winter. It has designated rows for eras and/or makes and a live DJ

Another is in front of the Ross Dress for Less, approximately 75th Ave and Bell Road (NW side of town) south side of Bell across from the Arrowhead Mall, every Friday night.

I have heard of one in the extreme west at the Albertson's grocery store - Litchfield Road and Van Buren every Weds night.

There's also the recurring one at the Safeway at 83rd and Beardsley every Saturday night, also has a live DJ, and the cars are always top notch.

Another reccuring one every Friday night at 35th Ave and Northern.

You can also check out the roundups forum at 2005stang.com

We're not going to get together for any car shows for the rest of the summer, we're going to wait for the heat to go away a little first, look to start doing those again starting in Sept.

Our summer trips focus on getting out of the desert over the summer.

Hey, I love it too, for the storms, but not the humidity.

I want to get some lightning pictures this year!

Welcome to the Phoenix area. You'll love our weather in the fall, winter, spring. Our summers separate the men from the boys but at least it is dry most of the time. I think the Pavilions is the best car show and it is every Sat nite. It is especially nice when the weather is cooler. Tony and many of us had a great time there about three weeks ago. We had about 16 or 17 05 Mustangs there. When we cruised in to the show some of us were in a convoy and we did get alot of attention. Check out the pictures of it at Tony's web site 2005stang.com. I'm sure we'll meet you during the winter at the car shows. You also should check out the Barret Jackson car show in Scottsdale in January if you love classic cars. There were alot of classic Mustangs there last January. Of course it is kindof expensive to get in but it is a pretty amazing show. Welcome aboard.

Maybe thats my problem

Just foolin, I like the monsoons for the neat storms, but hate that humidity that goes along with it.

Well... so far.. I'm a man with air conditioning... so no sweat!

I was thinking of hitting the Pavillions one in a couple of weeks.

I'm still unpacking stuff, so this weekend is out

I'm not going to get hazed or anything for bringing an import am I?

Right now, I've got an 03 Matrix and dats it.

But trust me, I wish to convert! :worship:

So what was Scarpi driving?

It says he's got a Stang now.

Did he come with (gasp!) an import?

For some reason I'm not sure, I think it was a Blazer or somthing, I never saw it. He'd just pop out of the bushes and say Hi
