Personally everyone knows what kind of car it is and what color it is, so it is redundant to stick that on a licence plate, that is my opinion.

I would put something that reflects you, or your personality, or even a nickname.

Custom plates are pricey up here, so I would rather spend that money on something that gets me more attention, like a loud exhaust system

I personally liked the yelanor but since you only get 6 how bout YLO NOR or YELONR, the right people would get it.

I was wanting to put 05 into mine to obviously date it but dont have room to fit what I want with the 05. So would '5 make sense if I were to add the ' myself? I know its illegal but I dont think it would be a big problem.
