I went to see the new GT/CS at the local dealer. I scored a poster while there. I adore that ford dealer!

Too bad Taylor Hicks is smelling it up. I hung it in the garage to keep watch over the mustang.

I gotta go back and get the one with the tungsten mustang on it.

who the hell is Taylor Hicks?

 

He is an American Idol contest winner that is doing FORD commercials. I dont have any of his posters

 

You know, the grey haired guy who is making us embarassed to drive a Ford?

 

My dealer told me that the Taylor Hicks deal is for 45 days and that was about two weeks ago, so we will have to put up with him for awhile longer.
I think the commercials are pretty crappy.

 

He so can't sing. It makes my REAL mustang decorations out there look cheezy.

 

I got a poster like that from my dealer also and the tungsten one, my 10 year old daughter wants the Hicks one, I put it in the closet.

Yea they were thick as thieves back in the day. I am down to two of em, gave em away like candy for a while.

I agree that Taylor on the poster is kinda not so cool, but I really think Ford made a good marketing move being associated with AI. That da um show continues to get unreal viewer count which means excellent exposure for Fords commercials (whether they're good or bad).
