Thanks Dave. Brings back great memories. My wife and I made that same trip down Lombard in our '68 red Datsun 1600 Roadster in 1970 shooting with a super 8 film camera. Amazingly Lombard still looks about the same to me on that stretch with all the curves. Now for your next project Dave, should you choose to accept it it, how about driving around S.F. in your Mustang and make videos of where Steve McQueen made the greatest chase film ever in "Bullit"?

I actually would like to find out what the path actually was. I looked around at some local flavor places and don't know where to find info on the movie specifics of where this was. I accept it if i get some info!

Hahahaha! I just did that drive about 3 weeks ago... didn't think to film it though. SF is a beautiful city! Too bad it is full of liberal Democrats though...

MR... I know what you mean about the whackos....it is hard to keep my composure sometimes..i have learned to just walk away. I work with veterans everyday and it is frustrating to see so many brainwashed people in the city who think we are the problem.../rant off!

Just got back from San Fran, and have to agree with Art J. Saw all the usual spots including Lombard, but the most incredible views are from outside the city looking in at a distance. I would recommend to anyone going to bypass getting a rental car and walk or use public transportation for two reasons: 1) The city is packed and hard to find a parking spot. 2) you are able to see so many things you might miss if you were driving.
