Went to Jenkins and Wyyne here in Clarksville, TN. The report shows three on hand or ordered. Walked all the lots, including the fence around the back holding lot.

No 2005s, but I did count 44 2004s !!!! Jeez, how are they going to sell that many?

Good thing is that my wife was with me, and she now has the bug to see one

Dealer inventory when they have a website, usually shows 0 2005's actually in stock. Some of the dealers have some fanciful MSRPs listed for the 2004s. You think the ones with several '04 models (44? Jeez, that's called not knowing your market) are upset that the '05 models are coming out slowly? They have to unload this stuff, and there are GTs out there too.

If someone offered you an '04 Cobra for less than $30K, what would you do?

It is a good indicator of what is coming. Someone should tally up the colors being ordered to see what is most popular.

As of 10/11, I called local Ford dealers that Autotrader.com listed as having '05s available- they are in transit; they haven't arrived yet....I would highly advise that you call dealers first before driving to dealer on a fool's errand!

2005 Ford Mustang GT
MSRP: $29940
Color: Black Clearcoat
Distance: 437 Miles
VIN: 1ZVHT82H355115839
Neill-Sandler Ford Lincoln Mercury
