....in the mean time here are some trivia questions for you all.....

Who was the first President (of the USA) to own a Mustang?
What year was the car?
What color and style? (vert, coupe or fastback)
Name another president who owned a stang and what color and style was it?

Any takers????

It was blue. Not sure what the exact name of the blue was though. Acapulco maybe? It's in some museum now.
Don't know who the other President was.

Yes, it was. Most notably the dash and the front end. I'm glad they used the 65/66 for the roof and trunk though. I never liked the 67/68 fastback.
Thanks for the pics, Craig.

I was referring to Bill's Mustang. I don't know anything about the other president you asked about.

I don't think Powder Blue was a '67 color. Maybe Brittany Blue. I get names of all the different blues mixed up.

My mistake. A offer my sincere apologies. Make that a great lesson for all the thirty eight year olds who visit TMS after their playground time.

Hey, I'm 44.

In referring to the 2005 Mustangs to the history of Mustangs, we are standing on the shoulders of Giants.

I didn't notice any one pointing out the three marks on the inside of the head lights come from the 65-66 Mustang. Sorry if I missed it.

Thank you everyone that pointed out that they were 65's not 64 1/2.

Well then I guess I gave away what color the Stang was that was owned by the first pres to own one, now we just need to know who it was, the year, and the style???

Come on people, I thought that the Bill Clinton one would've been a little harder to get.

GOFISCH & Dusty1, Thanks. That's a response I didn't expect.
Are you kidding?! Reading this topic is helping to keep me sane while I'm waiting. Spent the whole day yesterday getting her new home (garage) ready...Now it's air conditioned!

Well, as the parts for her start to pile up, I guess my sanity was in question anyway!

Hello everybody

Well, I searched trough this thread for a while now but I can't find anything. So maybe one of you can help me out.

I'm looking for the date when the first Mustang Shelby was introduced. One source told me it was January 27th in 1965. But does anyone of you know if that's correct?
