Lito tune

Hey guys I have a 06 mustang gt with mild bolt ons like jlt series 3 cold air intake and BBK shorty headers, pypes pype bomb axle back and a bama 93 race tune and I'm thinking about getting a tune from Lito and use it instead of the bama tune.... let me know what you guys think about the lito tunes and if I'm making a good choice or not, or let me know who is best at tuning these cars... the bama tunes ok I guess but I think I could get more out my car.... thanks guys

I have had excellent experience with Lito, same as everyone else who has posted about him on the boards. He specializes in the 4.6 3V engine, including custom supercharged applications.

He uses data-logging to check and fine-tune the tune, so you have to be prepared to do that; it is not a big deal, generally you need a tuner, a laptop, and the cable that connects to the laptop; plus the datalogging software that is available from the tuner; and Lito will give you the configuration file to log the right sensors.

That said, don't expect any miracles; he'll probably get about all there is to be got from a remote tune, but there might not be a lot there.

I saw on some other threads that he is slow to respond lately, probably due to the covid situation in South America where he lives. And since he it outside the US, he will still turn off the rear O2's if you want.

yes I used my SCT X3 that I originally got from Bama, with Bama tunes on it
there were some minor glitches with the drivers on the laptop, I forget what was the exact issue, but I got it to work
I think the later X4 is "better" due to later drivers or something like that . . . you can ask him about it when you e-mail

Yes! You can use and upload custom tuning files on the sct x3 tuner.
