These two pictures look totally different. Is this just the difference in IUP? For those that already have light graphite interior and IUP... does yours look more like the picture on the right or left? Thanks!

(maybe the left picture is actually dark charcoal, but just washed out in the pic?)

That is a great comparison of IUP vs. Non-IUP.

Now that I look at it closer the IUP seems to be too busy of a color scheme (3 colors vs. 1 predominant) I'm starting to believe the IUP ain't worth it. Does anyone have more pics w/o the IUP ?? Any thoughts? I could be wrong, I haven't seen one in person yet.

I think the complete opposite of you. I love my IUP and it adds a LOT of stuff to the car. It is also a VERY cheap option for what you get imo.

Yes, the pic on the left is Dark Charcoal, just a light pic.

I didn't order the IUP, for the reason you suggested. I too would like to see a quality pic of the graphite interior without the IUP. The pic on the left doesn't accurately reflect the dark graphite and the black combination.

The left hand photo does not have IUP-no chrome panels on the dash front, chrome bezels around the air registers, no chrome in the steering wheel. Dashboard horizontal appears washed due to the sunlight.

The right hand photo is probably an interior shot due to the dashpad being so dark.

I prefer non-IUP but want to have all black interior. vehicle will have grey/black tones because only IUP has black(charcoal) inserts in the door panels. Otherwise they are grey. Correct me if I am wrong. Also, cannot have side mounted airbags unless you get IUP. Might save your life one day.

I prefer the 3 colors...1 is just too plain for me.

I had a '94 Mustang that had a two-tone interior(tan seats and bottom half of interior, black on top of dash and roof of interior), thought it looked better than the single color interior.

My current 2002 Accord Coupe has a dark charcoal dash and interior. The dash has a black area around the radio in the center and a black panel around the instrument lens. There is no chrome, except on the shifter handle, or silver trim, except around the shifter base. Yes, it is plain-looking at first glance, but I don't expect the Mustang the be much different. The dark charcoal and black are both dark, so the difference in color won't have as much of a contrast as the parchment or the lighter grey color. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I think there are pros and cons of all the color combinations. My ideal combination would be all black.

IMO the IUP looks great with Dark Charcol, ok with parchment, and is not worth it on the light graphite.

The only issue with not having IUP is that you lose a lot of other functionality such as the side air bags, message center, mycolor, and extra gauges.

What is the message center?

I thought the extra gauges were a plus, but a closeup image posted on this site indicates they appear almost toylike at best. Really would be better off mounting some AutoMeter gauges ala Marauder.
