I just got back from my dealership, who is not very good at updating me....I guess thats what you get for not buying from an enthusiast like KevB. Anyway, he printed me out the listing, and it says that it was shipped 09/08/2004. I know this cant be true, because they held them all back till 9/23. But does this probably mean that it was shipped out on the 23rd with all the rest of them?

The other thing that i noticed was on the status screen on his computer. There is 5 or 6 different boxes with dates in them. Status, Order, Build, Production, Shipped, Dealer ETA, and one more that i dont remember. The wierd thing was that my production date was empty, but the shipped date had 9/8/04, which would be fairly normal i guess because my build date was 9/6/04.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think...when will it be here???

I live in San Diego, so its a long truck drive. Next week sometime?

I was worried when he pulled up my order, because he accidentally pulled up yours. I looked at the build date and it said 9/27 and I was like "oh no mine was rescheduled", but then i saw your name down at the bottom, not mine and was relieved when the "shipped" date had been filled out on mine. WHEW!

For sure-- I already told him i want to be there when it rolls off the truck and for the PDI process, ill just add that to my list.

I noticed that the gas and FDAF charges werent included on the receipt, were you able to get the dealer to drop those charges? and if so, how?

That wasnt the invoice, so it doesnt show all of the charges...im sure they are still gonna charge me everything they can!

 

I really need to wait to see what my teaching load will be for 2005 before making such a big decision, but hearing you're getting yours this week, seeing that cool TV news video and hanging out here... I just don't know how much longer I can hold out!
