Road Atlanta FTW! That's not the place where... you know happened, is it? Congratz on picking up a GO, though.

Actually yes it is... different weekend though. It was raining in May when this happened...

Turn 5 becomes treacherous in wet conditions. RA is not very forgiving to offs - lots of concrete walls close to the track, very little runoff room. Nobody got hurt though, that's the important thing. Love the new GO!

Frodaddi, what happened, to that car? did you sell it for parts or what. I see lots that could be salvaged off of it.

06GT, I think you have the best looking Legend Lime car I have seen. And maybe even the best vert I have seen. Great pictures. What camera do you have? Are those Magnum 500 wheels? If so, what size rims and tires? Where did you buy and what brand rims and tires?

Actually my insurance covered it. I was totally upfront with them about what happened and I kind of expected them to tell me to get bent but to my surprise they said there was no exclusion for track days / HPDE events.

Apparently "racing" which is defined as a competitive or timed event is not covered, but "driver education events" are.

I thought seriously about buying the carcass from them and resurrecting it as a dedicated track car but in the end I figured it would be cheaper and easier just to look for an older model.

Kevin.

Thank you! The camera wasn't mine, if you read the post I got them from a site called KillBoy.com, he's a stellar photographer.

The wheels are called MaRodders, they're made by the same company that does the Mag500's. They're 18x9.5 with 255/40 Bridgestone Potenza RE050's.
