As far as I know this is only going to be a dog and pony show for the mustang (display only)
But I will ask the question posted here.

When are the crash tests so that insurance can be lower than current models?
I attended the innovation drive and asked this question..
His Response was that a third party will be providing the crash test data. So that information was not available.

1) Since we are only days away from Job 1 Can you give any prices?
Verify that job1 is still on schedule. [/b][/quote]
Job 1 is on schedule and the mustangs will be available on the showroom floor in October. The guy I spoke with was a marketing person.

I will be attending the Innovation Drive in Orlando this weekend. Is there anything people would like to know that already has not been answered. I will do my best to find out all I can.
I can think of 2 Questions
1) Since we are only days away from Job 1 Can you give any prices?
2) What can the Aux port be used for (ie can I plug an Ipod into it)?

Please let me know by Friday.
Answers
1) no prices yet but he did say that a V6 will be under $20K and the GT will start around $25. This is information we already knew. B)

2) The aux port question I forgot to ask... :bang: But I did find out about the "9" speakers. This mustang had the 1000 system. (it sounded pretty good but I am not one that needs a lot of bass). Back to the speaker question. He said there are "10" speakers the 2 on the rear deck, 2 subs in the trunk, 2 subs on the doors, and in the picture of the door the upper speaker location he quoted as having 2 speakers. I do not know much about speakers but he said they count the anolog speakers.

05pony, could you please find out: 1.) when the '06 model will debut, 2.)why ford made a titanium show car, but won't release that color this year!!! 3.) if there will be any body changes ducktail spoiler, fascia changes etc... and finally 4.) will all the interior colors be available in '06, including the red int. accent package?? thank you so much!!! HAVE AN AWESOME TIME DRIVING!!!! (though how could you not, really?)
The rep did not give specific information about the 06 model. About the colors he said they will have some colors for 1 year only. (lime green = 05 model year). I asked if there were any changed for the 06 model year and he said that they are looking into different ideas nothing specific.
The interior package should remain the same. However they are looking at some other packages fo the interior.

A little information that I found out about the car and SE models. I asked if Shelby was working with the SVT team and he said that Shelby is making another SE and not working with the SVT team.
I asked about any information on SE models, (this guy is from the marketing of Ford) his response was that they are looking at a Mach, boss and others for the SE Mustang. He did say they are going to keep things interesting for the mustang. I asked when we will be seeing any magazine articles about the mustang and he responded with nothing just yet.

The GT super car information..
This car was tested agaist some of the other supercars and it helds it own.. This article should be coming out soon.. He said they tested it up against the enzo and others.

He did say that the model that was on display, a pretty much loaded GT, would be around $29,000.

He also told me that the Shaker 1000 system adds something like 72 pounds to the car.
