Went to the auto show today and snapped a few shot's my digital is a P.O.S. and for whatever reason does not recognize the memory card so only got a few shots.
Galpin had the mustang with the groovy looking grill, custom grill with no pony but fogs set in the middle. They said they were custom made to order and would run either $430.00 or $340.00 forget which. Looks really cool in person, couldnt get photos with the crowd of people but there was a photo on another thread. They also PAINT on nice wide stripes that go all the way to the floor and look very nice, the price was quoted at $1700.00  They DO look very nice but man thats alot of green for stripes.
They had lot's of 05's around but most were just showing off Giant chrome "dubs" which seemed to be the theme of the show. The after market area was dominated by rhine stone spinners, gigantic 20-24" chrome bling rims. I meant to snap a shot of the spinners with the faux diamonds but they were hideously lame and didn't do it out of my own self respect.
The Saleen looked alright from the front I suppose, with a vented hood but thats about the only thing I liked about the cosmetics. Had a slick supercharger though and got a photo of the 281 with the super charger, the guy said they will be selling them alone for much money, I offered the figure of 5 grand and he said that was probably about right. Car was rated at 400 ponies though.
Saw a couple other 05's arriving at the show at the same time as myself and a Cobra who paid his respects with a little S/C V8 music.
There was really no "swag" to be had, brochures in a plastic bag was about the extent of goodies. My only real trinket was a little pad thing from Nitto tires booth, it can be placed on a smooth surface and will hold your cell phone in place. It's not sticky, kinda like a mini mouse pad that sticks like cling wrap. It's actually pretty neat, held my phone in place while doing some spirited driving home, with no resadue. Can be put almost anywhere.
Ok now with some pics...
The 281 with custome Saleen valve covers and the super charger,

I don't want to come accross cynical but this wing makes no sense at all. It sits above the duck tail Kinda reminds me of a high chair tray, just add a bowl of spilled cheerios.

Ugly Saleen rear quarter window, they have what looks like tape thats been trimmed with an exacto knife and has a big wrinkle in it, have to ask yourself...why?
