inside joke in my club, but on the front pocket/breast area "05 4 t3h win!" and on the back "t3h 05 can n3va lose!" with the grill/fogs/pony image

or you can shorten the back to simply "can n3va lose!"

and I would by some of those and hand out to my club, either way if its a good one I will buy one especially if it has a black stang on it, havent seen a shirt yet with a black one.

Don't make it cheesy. Please. Too many 05+ Mustang shirts are cheesy and have bad graphics. Find a really cool graphic, non cartoony, make it look as realistic as possible, maybe even make it look vintage.

Production wise, at most they would be a two color shirt. Most likely, the car/image would be one color, and the text would be a combination of the second color and the first.

Production of different car colors simply can't happen - not nearly enough volume to justify that.

Now, I ask this - if we do some type of version of this shirt, how many of you would step and buy one? I'm not asking for a deposit or anything like that, I just want to make sure the interest is there before I start developing any artwork.

I'm going to make a preliminary descision and say "The slow get trampled" is going to be the slogan, and most likely a front end/grill shot with the running horse being predominant in the image.

So how many of you would buy a shirt like that? Send your friends in here if you would, as I don't hang out in the S197 forums - I'm still in a fox body car...
I'll take 2 in Lg.

Bump

Cobra - any news on what design you're going to produce and when it might be available for purchase?

Nothing yet, unfortunately. Working on 4 new designs right now, but none of them are S197 versions.

Don't even have a timetable set for it, so it is at least a month away, prob. longer.

We NEED to have at least a committment of around 50 shirts, or we simply can't do them at a reasonable cost. So get some more people in here to commit to them and that will help considerably.

Gals and guys - let's see if we can't help an authorized advertiser around here. How about some more t-shirt commitments posted on here?

How about just a black shirt, the front all you can see is the 4 front lights of a GT and the emblem, and the back of the shirt all you can see is the tail lights and some smoke clouds.

I'll take (4) of the one TexaStang thought up and (4) of the "The Slow Get Trampled" ones. I need XXL for myself, a men's Medium for my wife, a 4T for my Nephew Bryce and a kids 7 for my Nephew Ben.

A general idea for T-shirts of all car lovers could be:

"I have no idea officer - it isn't safe to look down at those speeds!"

Or for us NHRA lovers:

Two cars drag racing at Bandemere in Denver, CO with John Force's Mustang kicking someone's butt, mountains in the background and the saying:
"That's how the West was won!"

Guys, I'm going to bump this one to the top after being LONG dead.

We actually did our first S197 shirt. Women's only sizes right now, but what do you think of it? Should we use that same picture and modify the slogan for a guys shirt? Or simply offer the same design in guys sizes (we've had several guys request that). What do you think?

Here's the shirt:

One guy's vote: I wouldn't wear that t-shirt to a car meet even if you promised to make my car payments for me.

(Not that there's anything wrong with it if a guy DOES want to wear it. )

I'd suggest one with NO words - just the front on the front, the back on the back pics. But I wouldn't put the car in a white box. I'd put a silhouette of the car directly on a black shirt and make it look like it was driving out of the dark - know what I mean.

Something like this:

id say use a vintage style t-shirt because the car is vintage looking....not just the same old plain t-shirt. the vintage ones r cool....id say put a the grille on the front but fade and blur it to add a cool effect and make the pony stand out a but...on the back in small letter near the neck, the mustang letters in script can be placed there

I'm not sure about a design, although I've seen some good ideas here. I do not like the white "box" in the back ground, however. It makes it look ironed on.
