In the last couple of weeks a soft hollow knock/pop has developed in the front right suspension of my 08 GT. It occurs every time I hit a bump on that side. I have double checked everything in the area. All nuts and bolts are tight. And there does not seem to be any excessive play in any bushings. I installed spring and gt500 strut mounts about a year ago with the stock shocks. About a month ago I installed Koni yellow in place if the oem shocks/struts.

What could be making this noise? Is it possible that my strut mount is going bad? Thanks for the help.

 

I have the same noise on my 06 pony. I am thinking it is the Strut Plate but have not had time to prove it.

 

FIXED!!!!!

somehow the center nut at the top of the strut came loose, I apperantly missed checking it when I checked everything else.
