knock noise in front end

When driving over small bumps I get a knock noise in the front end more on the passenger side. I took it to tire kingdom they could not find anything but, there is definitely noise.

Makes me think about strut mounts.

I assume they would have checked the tie rod ends, so if they are good, the strut mounts would be my guess.

Don't know if you've been running lowering springs on the stock shocks, but this can make them fail early.

How many miles are on your car?

Also this may sound silly but if any work has been down recently on the front end, check to make sure the nuts and bolts are tight. I know if the top but on the strut assembly is a little loose it will allow enough play up and down to make a knocking noise over bumps.

I have a 2007 gt the only work I had done is tie rod replaced. Ford said it is normal for that model mustang.

Check that the Swaybar endinks are tight too, those are known to loosen up and clunk

I had a knocking noise in my front end and it was the sway bar end links. I replaced mine with SR Performance Adjustable Front Sway Bar End Links from AM. Nice and quiet now.

Make sure the nuts are torqued properly on the ones you have now before you buy anything new. The ones you have may be fine
