Killed a GT-H

Ok so I might have been a bit of a jerk to this guy but I was in a mood and had fun. I was on my way home after leaving work on El Camino Real and was stopped at the light at La Costa Ave. There was a car next to me so I couldnt see the car to his right, but could see this guy peering over at me and he reved a bit, then as the light changed he took off and I could see it was a GT-H. So at the next light I pull over a lane and get next to him and say "Nice rental!" He then sheepishly responded with "yeah, thanks" seeing as I knew what it was and it wasnt his. So I asked him how he like it, he said a lot and that it was very fast, to which my response was "fast huh?"

Now I know my car isnt up to par with many of yours on here or by any means very fast, but I did know that he was packing less HP then I was and was driving an auto with 3.31s vs my 4.10s, so as he reved at the light I just sat there (trunk filled with all of my detailing gear) as I reached over and flipped off the traction control. The light changed and we hit it, unfortunately my car just slipped and fish tailed all the way through first, but was still side by side with him down the road, once I kicked it into second, she regained traction and I was off, leaving his **** behind. I had fun!!!

Just felt like sharing! part of me felt bad for being an **** about it but the other part of me liked whomping on him, since he thought he was a hot shot in a rental.

they are supposedly 325hp, 320tq. but they all have 3.55 gears. The trans is stock shifting, and the tcs switch is defeated, so you cant shut the tcs off.

yeah Id say just having a stock manual GT (07s opt for the 3.55s) it should be even if not pull away from one of these, it would probably come down to the driver

I thought they came with the auto 3.31s, to keep people from getting on them real hard and discourage racing.

I would assume they would at least have the same limiters as the stock GTs if not more since it is a rental

What really gets me is that everyone knows that these GT-Hs get heavily abused...you have to be an idiot to want to bid on them afterwards (when they go on the auction block next year)...I just can't understand it...the new owners will have nothing but trouble with them... I'm sure the engine, tranny, and brakes will be thoroughly thrashed...
