:nono: Hey, you took the time out of driving to check the internet, and post pics of your keys... shame... back out on the road with you.

Seriously though guys, this thread is funny, but the keys could be a little more exciting. I mean, look at the stinking thing. It's black plastic for crying out loud.....

My taurus SE atleast has a embossed ford symbol. Can't we get a freak'in pony or Ford symbol? (not angry, just using a lot of angry words)

You miss the whole point. A very special car should at least have a Mustang logo on it. Maybe in gold print! Nuff Said

When you have a special car or at least the marketing guys want you to think you do (which I agree with) if you made the keys special, well like was stated before its the little thing that count and the cost would be pennies. Well worth it from a marketing and customer loyalty issue.

Everyone knows Warp 9 is impossible, because you would be occupying every point in the Universe at the same time. Warp 8 is the fastest, but even still...the structural integrity of your ship would be greatly compromised because you are so near Warp 9.

:geek:

I mean....duh....whats Star Trek?

You are thinking about warp 10, at least in the modern incarnations of Star Trek. Voyager had a maximum speed of warp 9.975.

Yes, I am a Star Trek geek.

They need to whipple-charge it then 9.975 is kinda weak

Fancy keys? Fuse boxes? Sounds like the review from Autoweek, how about some jewelry on the front....

What is this thread, My Pretty Pony?

I agree this thread is fun. so leave it open. But back to the key issue. I would say ford should have put the pony on the key because they took it off of the engine. My 02 F150 has at least the ford logo on the key. I do not even see that on this key. Lastly, the key will not be a reason or even something that makes me think twice about buying this car.

I think that the key is hardly important. You see it for like 5 seconds from your pocket to the ignition. Drive the car.
Yeah but this guy must be one of those guys who likes to not only show off his hot ride, but his key too! Personally, the key is a cool pocket accessory, but it's not worth it if it is 400 bucks!!

I agree with Chorpeac. I wouldn't pay $400 for a key/fob, but my taurus keys aren't even $10 a piece and they have a ford symbol.......were still talking pennies, not hundreds....

Haha there's a silver lining to this...

say you lose your keys somewhere...at least the person who picks them up won't know exactly which car to go to if they have any such inclination.

They'll just use the alarm instead...
