Kevin Casey - Clevenger Parts - Fantastic Vendor

Ok. How many times have we heard it? Somebody bought something and the vendor sucked! Bla Bla Bla It has happened to all of us, and in my case, I'm the first to b/i/t/c/h about it.

Well away, I have purchased a couple of parts for my SN197 from Kevin at Clevenger Parts [his member name here is 05stangkc -- clevparts@aol.com]. Everything went great and the prices were resonable.

So about 4 months or so, I ask Kevin to order me a front license plate braket. It is a ridculously small order (> $10) and I made my request by email. I never heard back from Kevin but really did not care. I figured he probably had better things to do then horse around with this type of an order.

So spring is coming now, and I email Kevin again. I'm thinking that I want to get the bracket to put on when I pull the car out for the season. Long story short - without any fanfare, Kevin sends me the bracket at no cost to me. He sends me a brief email apologizing for not replying earlier and that's it.

Well - yes, that's it and that's great. What a solid guy, and a guy who know how to build a customer relationship. No doubt, I'll be buying something from him in the future.

Thanks Kevin - it was uncalled for, but a great experience.

Kevin is fantastic to deal with, he's helped me get parts for both my SN95 and my S197, as well as helped me get the correct part number to swap my gauge cluster to the IUP MyColor cluster. I can't thank him enough - my cars are very happy too! Thanks Kevin!!

Agreed, Kevin is a nice guy to deal with and a pleasure to do business with. And what makes it better is he actually has great product knowledge which is something that is hard to find at a lot of dealerships.

I'll chime in with the KC kudos!

I bought my GT500 spoiler, GT/CS scoops, and my NAV system through him. He has treated me good and takes the time to actually explain how the parts fit, etc. His enthusiasm is obvious, and I can always get him on the phone!

He's a great guy and I highly recommend him.

IMO, this is what these Forums are for. It helps us know who is dependable and who is shady. Glad to be able to add a vendor so highly recommended! Money is too hard to come by and my car too important to have poor quality parts OR service.

KC is one of the good guys. He helped me out with my GT500 front end conversion and actually to the time to explain to the techs doing the conversion how they would hook up the foglights despite the fact the instructions were right in front of them.

I see myself doing more business with KC in the future.

Kevin has always come through for me. He is a busy guy trying to run a normal parts dept at a dealership. While he does all the side stuff as well. Sometimes make take him a day or two to get it all figured out for you, but he goes the extra mile on everything I have gotten from him. Hes also a hell of a nice guy to talk with as well. If you ever need something just give him a jingle and chat with him. He will go out of his way to try and get it done for you, whatever the mod maybe, good luck, and as always kevin rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
