Well that's not what I was hoping to hear.

Either the Radar was faulty or the Car was Modified.

Well, DUH!.... didn't you see the stripes? Just ask all the ricers... those will make a car go much .... much faster.

Well if you take it in another perspective the young fella proved that the ponies do run.....and fast! Too bad he did in though in a stolen vehicle. Lets hope he doesn't drop the soap in the shower.

Kevin (n00Stang)...it's not so "cool" if it's your car...he deserves to be "knee-capped."

He could've avoided a lot of those charges if he would have stayed in one county...I'll remember that..

How many 17 year-olds in that part of the country are "expert thiefs"?

Yea that little joy ride took place about 30 miles down the road from me. I drive that road fairly often and anybody doing 150 on an interstate in anything, Mustangs included, is on the verge of getting somebody killed. Probably NOT the driver. Speed is for the track and the strip, not public roads. The one positive thing about the incident was that it was not a Mustanger driving, just a worthless juvenile crook who is in the lockup tonight.

I want to send him this link so he can see these cars have a speed limiter and the Man screwed him over with a faulty radar gun. Poor guy.....he's just misunderstood.

Bump the faulty radar gun. I'll take a 153 mph top end any day.. You won't ever see me going that fast though. Even if it wasn't stolen, at 153, that's jail time anyway. And it's Windveil Blue on top of that!!!

Top speed limiter is turned off on any aftermarket tune, he probably had a stolen mustang with a tune!! Chances of the radar being off by more than + or - 1mph is small, I use the radar guns all the time and they all have self diagnostics that are performed automatically every time they are turned on. Not to mention they SHOULD be checked every day for accuracy using a set of special tuning forks. Either way, 149...152...whats the difference really?

If someone stole my car and pulled that kind of crap while endangering others as well... all I can say is the thief better hope he crashes and dies (just himself and/or accomplices only!) before I get my hands on him. Having your stuff stolen makes you feel violated and powerless. Just sayin'. The worst part is, they usually get off easy and are back on the streets in no time.

oh i was just saying that it's cool how fast our cars are. and how they can survive for a while after hitting spike strips. that's pretty cool right? 130mph after hitting spikes? i think that's pretty cool.

now the whole moral issue. of stealing a car. and driving that recklessly.
well we all know that is definitely not cool. and he will pay for such a stupid act. and i agree he should be knee-capped. and he will get some lovin too.
and he'll get what's coming to him.

I have to admit the part about him doing 153 mph while the cops tried to "keep him in sight" was kinda cool. Stupid and dangerous , but cool.
