I definitely like the Daytona R/T, SRT/8 or the Super Bee! If you need a four door with attitude, I just don't think you can go wrong with those picks.

Cheers

I had an srt-8 pull a little on me on the freeway... The srt-8's are a nice looking car IMO.

I like both the Daytona and the SRT-8, I had my Dakota at the dealership getting it's oil changed and they had a metallic black SRT-8 on the showroom floor...it looked slick! If I could have one of those AND my Mustangs I'd be all over it. Maybe when I get through paying for my Mustang...

Maybe not a muscle car but more of a "muscle-ish" car. Definitely NOT your typical Accord/Camry/Impala crowd though.

My wife and I own both. I have driven both, and the Mustang with its 5-speed manual is without doubt a tad faster (seat of the pants calibration here)... Additionally the Mustang is much crisper handling, but the ride is rough when compared to the "tomato worm." I like 'em both.

Those Chargers look great parked next to the Mustangs..almost looks like they are daring some ricers to come by and start something.

"the mustang gt = destroyed."

that's what chargerforums.com says about the srt8 vs. mustang gt

"so im cruising down the beltway and see a mustang cobra on the road(not the new body style) with a younger guy, 30 or so, in it, windows down, girlfriend in the pass seat. figured hed probably wanna have fun but wasnt sure.

i pull past him slowly and notice he keeps pace. we pace up to like 85 or 90 together and both sit onto the pedal aorund 90-92 at the exact same time. i pulled on him and kept pulling up to about 125, then all of a sudden he just flew past me.

i mean... flew. like i was pulling at 125, and all of a sudden he was past me... when he went by i could hear the pulley on his supercharger and in my rearview mirror(previous to him passing me) i could see the huge hump in the middle of his hood.

i still cant figure it out, all i can figure is that he had nos, or red lined the **** outta his car by down shifting into 3rd to pass me. then back up to 4th once he was past again.

i have no idea. im still confused. i almost think it HAD to be nos."

lol it has to be nos, because a mustang cobra can't smoke an R/T...

No kiddin, winning the Lotto would be the only way I could get another one any time soon, I'd have to get a new house first to have a garage to hold them all. It's a nice daydream though!

I was at the track a few weeks ago and managed a 13.58 for my best time. This was with a junky Strategy Flash canned tune. There was an SRT8 there too, he was running around 13.2-13.4. Faster than me, yes, but I would not say "Mustang = Destroyed"

I ran a charger r/t at the track last night. I'm not fast by any means thought. All I have at the moment is a drop in k&n filter with a hacked airbox, JBA Axlebacks and lowered. I ran a 13.86 at 101 and he ran 14.30 at 97. Gawd I cant wait for my turbo kit.

Okay, I'm jealous, The F-body boys have the Fbody Godfather and the dodge boys get this! Be nice if Ford would drop by every once and awhile!
