I've had mine since May. Yes, the wow factor is still alive and well. I get lots of compliments and questions about it. If I ever need to reinforce the wow factor, all I have to do is drive my Toyota Rav4 and I say "wow", this thing is gutless.

I didn't mean my car specifically? I still enjoy just staring at it and driving it. Still get the occasional , and "that thing looks awesome," But it seems like the general interest in the car is starting to die out. It may even be just a regional thing, since there are so many here in So. Cal.

As opposed to what? A Ferrari? Not sure what you mean by that.

as the GT gets older no one cares about the high production ones...
But if you see a Cobra you still say wow or cool...

You think people still go wow about a 1994 Mustang GT?

to be honest, I'm not even a ford fan. Chevy's are my thing, but i fell in love with this new mustang! It's not the "wow" factor. It's the "retro" styling that makes the new mustang different. I have a 1969 camaro convertible also. Driving this mustang feels like you gutted an old school mustang and added all modern parts.

I don't get as many walk-ups as I do people slowing way down to look at it and do double-takes. Some have even run off the road craning their necks as I go by in the opposite direction.

I was a proud papa, although I'd rather get those comments from a mid 20 year old lady who would like to go for a ride

Driving to work and back can take some of the WOW out of it...
Last weekend I took a pleasure ride over to Eastern Washington (from the Seattle area). The road is US 2 and it is a two lane (one in each direction) winding road that crosses over a 4022 ft mountain pass. The fall colors were a little past their peak, but it was still beautiful.
Getting to the WOW part... ocassionally, I'd find myself behind people doing the speed limit or less. I couldn't take it for long. I'd drop it to third, let out the clutch while flooring it... WOW!
A couple of times, while stuck behind four or five cars, we'd come around a corner into a straight away, by the time I got around the last car... ~100mph... I'm sure those people in their mini-vans were saying more than WOW. More like, "Holy F'n crap, what was that"?
Here's a couple of pictures of the car. Even one with my woman. She's pretty cool sometime.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Nope...hasn't lost the new car factor at all. I always turn my head when I see one, and there aren't nearly as much 05's as the pre-05's out there (obviously )
Its just exquisite feeling release of liquid waste product me off that there are new people in my neighborhood getting a GT.
But as I said, they still attract many. I get people asking my about my car on average 3-4 times a day, and I simply can't drive around without a crowd pointing or staring. Or trying to race me.

You're clearly a hardcore mustang enthusiast!
It is just a GT? A wow factor doesn't matter what car it really is...its the look that grabs people...heck...people get wowed looking at a $5,000 kit car. Its just a kit car, but it has its wow factor.
Besides, its a GT. Its heritage. Its retro. Its awesome. Its something you somehow don't see?
