I'm as giddy as a little school girl. The sales guy was so cool, he bumped my priority from 40 to 10!!!! He says I'll get my GT in September which I hardly believe! It pays to get the sales manager to like you I guess.

cyoon - That's great news. What does ERL say about your order? Are you C/U? I'm curious about how fast they are serializing these orders.

 

I ordered in March. Then updated and submitted about June 1. I was told that I was going to be placed early as possible in the que.

Don't know a priority??

 

I bought my '05 GT at Santa Monica Ford last year. They were very efficient and easy to deal with. Congrats on your order.

 

I received a order confirmation form with priority number of 10 how long will it take for the vin ??? according to dealer it is supposed to be built 08/15

 

army_eod, did you order through ENCS?

 

If it is supposed to be built the week of 8/15 then you have a VIN.

 

Should I call back my dealer and ask her if she has the vin number? or is that really not necessary??

 

Depends on how nuts you are about tracking the build. (cause most of us are down right nuts) If you get a VIN there is a guy over at Blue oval forum that works for Ford and is tracking anyones build by vin#. Heres a link: http://www.blueovalforums.com

Haha! me too! I just called ERL, and to think I wasnt even gonna bother to call this week. This is way ahead of schedule according to what my dealer said!
